SHOOTING ACCIDENT

CLUTHA FARMER INJURED By Telegraph.—Press Association Dunedin, January 9. Edward Tapp, a farfiier, of Glenomaru (Clutha), a'married man, with a grown-up family, met with a shooting accident on December 29. He was out with a shooting and fishing party, and went off alone into the bush. Later lie was found in an unconscious state, shot through the mouth, and was taken to the Dunedin Hospital, where he now lies, in an improved condition. Tapp said lie had been taking a shot at a rabbit when the accident occurred.
