WANGANUI RESIDENT ARRESTED. Br Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, January 9. James Daniel Markham, a local resident, was arrested yesterday evening while allegedly attempting to open the door of McGruer’s, drapers premises with a jemmy. Markham is a single man, aged 42. Another man who wag with him at the time escaped, and has not yet been, arrested.
