The Speech from the Throne when the fifteenth Federal Parliament is formally opened on Friday Is expected to outline the Government’s proposals in respect to reducing taxation and its rural credit and immigration schemes. The Speech will be read by the Gover-nor-General, Lord Byng. A brief session will be held. Mr. Rudolphe Lemieux, Speaker in the last Parliament, has been re-elected.—Reuter.
