MOTOR-BUS CONTROL
CONFERENCE DATE FIXED February 4 was yesterday fixed as the date for the conference at which various parlies interested will discuss the draft regulations for the control of public transport by means of motor-buses. The regulations were discussed at a recent meeting of motor-bus proprietors, and the opinions then expressed indicated spirited hostility towards the proposed new rules. Attending the conference on February 4 will be proprietors of tramways, the principal vehicle licensing authorities, and representatives from the Omnibus Owners’ Federation, Public Works Department, Internal Affairs Department, and Railway Department,
