MYSTERY SOLVED AT LAST CONFESSION OF HOTEL BOYS Weltevreden, January 5. Two hotel boys, the main suspects in the Macfie murder case, have confessed that one stabbed Mrs. Macfie, while the other held the victim’s legs, with two other hotel boys keeping watch. Finally two other confederates removed Dlrs. Macfie’s luggage to an empty house, where it was plundered. The prisoners declared that, robbery was. the sole motive of the crime, and that there was no European confederates —Svdnev “Sun” Cables. [Mrs. Macfie, the wife of a Sydney merchant, was found murdered in her bedroom in a country hotel while on tour in Java some months ago. For a long time the crime remained a complete mystery.]
