Mr. Compton MacKenzie’s opinion of the “Edison” I Mr. Compton Mackenzie, the j well known Author, writing in I the " Gramophone" (English I publication) states : — "1 have been enormously im- ' pressed by my first experience I with the Edison Instrument 1 and Edison Records. I then tried Claudie Muzio in a couple of arias, and I could g not believe it was the same voice I had heard attributed ; to her on other records. A j harp record was astonishing. i As for jazz bands, all the jazz I bands I have heard on the gramophone sound like tin kettles by comparison. lam pretty hard bitten in the way of gramophone improvements, but the jazz bands of the Edison HAVE AMAZED ME."
