There was a good attendance at flic monthly stop-work meeting of tho Wellington Seamen’s Union at tho Early Settlers’ Hall, Abel Smith Street, yesterday morning. Only routine business rvas transacted, the proceedings terminating before 10.30 a.in., in accordance with the award. A fair number of members aro out of work. A few of those concerned in the strike on tho British ships aro still unemployed, but tho majority havo found employment.
