OLD MAN DROWNED
FOUND BENEATH WHARF.

Greymouth, December 4. Joseph Bovd, 82 years of age, formerly employed as a wharf labourer, was found drowned beneath the wharf at 8 p.m. to-day. He was seen alive half an hour previously. At tho inquest the evidence showed that the deceased had suffered from senile decay. A verdict of accidental downing was returned.
