It is salt that the niotormcn and conductors are strongly in favour of a strike, owing to dissatisfaction with their treatment bv the management. The ballot taken, however, embraces all members of the union, and all of iheemplovees are not so dissatisfied as the traffic men. Tbc result of the ballot is not declared vet. If the declaration is in favour of a strike tbc proposal is that work shall cease on New Year’s Day,
