poverty-stricken ticket HOLDERS WIN BIG PRIZE.

The big prize of £500,000 in a Spanish lottery, which is the most popular, national event of the vear, will be divided between vendors of bananas, chestnut toasters, umbrella repairers, and hawkers living in the poorest quarters of Madrid. The winners contributed the equivalent of a few pence each, and though there are many participants. each will receive a large sum.
