PETONE FACTORY SITES
GOVERNMENT SECTIONS SOLD. Two industrial sections at Petone, situated in close proximity to tlje gasr works, were sold bv the Comnijssioner of Crown Lands (Mr. Thoipas Brook) yesterday. Section 2, consisting of 5 acres 1 rood JjL-lS perches was purchased by Mr. S. George Nathan as agent (the onlv bidder) at the upset price, £5350. Section 3, comprising 5 acres 2 roods 22.07 perches, also found a solitary bidder in Standard Forcer lains ’ Limited (N.Z.), the upset price being £5600. Both the sections are to be used as sites for the erection of factories, which will be commenced shortly.
