PALMERSTON’S BROADCASTING STATION

Palmerston North, December 23.

Wireless station 2GI, Palmerston, has a new call. It is now 2XF. As it has been transformed into a broadcasting station file wavelength also has been altered from 150 to 200 metres.

The final concert- of the year was given to-night, when an interesting and varied programme was given. When the finances permit the club intends to use a higher power, and it is anticipated that next vear Palmerston will possess a broadcasting station tlia can be heard from any part of the Dominion.
