ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS.
“V. and A.” asks when the suburban passenger trains, exclusive of troop trains, ceased running to Te Aro Station. In connection with a coal-saving time table it was decided on April 17, 1917, to close the Te Aro line. This was brought into effect on Monday, April 23, 1917, from which date passenger trains ceased to run.
