The annual match between Otago University and Canterbury College was played on the Caledonian Ground to-day in ideal weather, Otago winning by points (5 tries, 3 converted, and a penaltv goal) to 15 (5 unconverted tries). Otago dominated the first spell, and at half-time led by 21 to 3. The visitors showed greatly improved form in the second spell, and added four tries to their score as the result of good back nlav Otago added a penalty goal to their total. The Canterbury forwards easily held the upper hand in the second spell.
