TEST BORE TO BE PUT DOWN. By Telegraph—Press Association1 . Gisborne, August 20. The directors of the Gisborne Oil Proprietary, which has been investigating the possibilities of petroleum in this district, stated to-day that during the next few months a test bore will be commenced. Up to the present the company has been engaged on detail sui?. vey work. It is not possible yet to NUT where the bore will be located.
