MESSAGE FROM ARCTIC
INTERCEPTED BY AUCKLAND AMATEUR. By Telegraph—Pless Association. Auckland, August 19. A resident of Epsom has heard communications passing by wireless between the Macmillan Expedition in the Arctic and an amateur aboard the flagship Seattle at Wellington. The messages were very distinct and included greetings to Admiral Coontz. The messages from the Arctic were noticeably plainer than those from the Seattle, although the American vessel was only four hundred miles away.
