HEAD-ON COLLISION

Horace Grove, e'ectrician, of Masterton, when riding a motor-cycle, collided with a car driv ’ by Mr. Elliott, a traveller for Ne«tles, at a sharp corner on the main road at Mangamaboe. Groves failed to see the car. Elliott pulled to the side as far as possible and stopped the car, but the bicycle struck It head on. Groves suffered a broken thigh and lacerations. He was [ taken to the hospital.
