CONTEMPTIBLE THEFT

In the Supremi* Court to-day Ernest Alexander Cooper (19 years of age) pleaded guilty to charges of breaking, entering. and theft at To Awnmutu, and was sentenced io reformative detention for twelve months. The accused stole monev fiom a man who had previously lent him some. The Judge characterised the theft as mean and contemptible.
