POLICE CASES. The police cases in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday .vere dealt with by Mr. C. It. Orr-Walker, S.M. Thomas Crooko, a second offender for insobriety, was fined Al. For fighting in Tory Street,' John Martin was fined £2, in default three days’ imprisonment, and Claude Claranco Hawthorne .£l, with the alternative of spending 48 hours in gaol. Charged with t.'ieAheft of AlB 12s. 3d. in money, Frederick Emanuel Simmiss was remanded until June 24.
