MIRAMAR TRAM STOP
TWO SHELTER SHEDS WANTED. A deputation from the Watts Peninsula Municipal Electors' Association, introduced by Councillor It. McKeen, waited on the Tramways Committee yesterday. Messrs. E. 0. Thornton, J. Patrick, and E. Canham were the speakers, and each of them put ia » strong plea for tramway shelter sheds at “the junc- . tion” (where Broadway and Princess Street meet), and also at the junction of Broadway and Monorgan Road <the Scots College stop). Both these places, it was stated, were very exposed in all weathers, and sheds of some kind -were an absolute necessity. The Mayor told the deputatiei? that the matter would have his careful consideration. He would go into it with Mr. Cable, and make some reeommendation to the committee.
