DAVIS CUP MATCHES WINS BY FRANCE, INDIA AND HOLLAND Paris, June 14. In tine Davis Cup series, France versus Italy, Jacques Brugnon and Reno Laooste (France) beat Baron 11. L. de Mopurgo' and 'C. Colombo (Italy), 6—l, 6—l, 6—l. France, having won three matches to nil, will now play England in the semi-finals of the European zone, probably at Eastbourne in July.—Reuter. Vienna, June 14. In the second round of tho European zone Davis Cup matches, India beat Austria by three matches to nil.— Renter. Amsterdam, Juno 14. In the Holland versus Sweden Davis ,Cup contest, C. van Lennepp and Diemerkool (Holland) beat Wallenberg and Von Brunn (Sweden). 3—6, 6—l, 6—4, 9- —7. .
