It is an unwritten law with most men to 'rive their seats in a train or a tram to ladies who enter. Since the introduction of the new stvle of trimming women’s hair (notes the Dunedin “Star”), it is not an uncommon occurrence to see young women waiting, with men, in hairdressers’ saloons to have their hair shingled or bobbed, or to have it trimmed', and the question will probable be asked if the rule of “ladies first” will apply in this case.
