BOYS’ INSTITUTE

At the monthly meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington Boys’ Institute and S. A. Rhodes’ Home for Bovs, the director’s report stated that all activities were in full swing and going along nice’.v. 'There was an average attendance of 69 boys in the games room, while Scouts, Cubs, band, etc., were doing good work. A Imffet is to he started at which boys can have a cup of tea or cocoa with something to cat at a very nominal sum. An appeal was made for cups.' sue-ar. tea, cocoa or any gifts in this direction., also articles, such as pen knives, penefl cases, pencils, pens, or anything that is useful for boys, would lie gratefully received. Anyone desirous of presenting these gifts, if they communicate with the director. Boys’ Institute, Tasman Street, arrangements will ho made for collecting same. A warm welcome is extended to any of the puh'io. who would like to sec over the building.
