WEATHER FORECAST
AT 4 r.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications arc for northerly winds, strong to gale, changing to southerlies northward of New Plymouth and Castlepoint, southerlies prevailing and increasing elsewhere. AVeather unsettled and colder, with further rain generally. Heavy rains with flooded rivers in many parts of the North Island and northern and East Coast districts of the South, and snow on higher levels. Barometer falling but rising everywhere soon. B. V.
