E. A. Porritt, of Wanganui, the New Zealand Rhodes scholar, who has performed with remarkable success in track events in England and on the Continent. His latest success was the winning of the OxfordCambridge 100 yards championship in the college record time of 9 9-10 sec. Porritt was the Dominion’s sole representative at the last Olympiad, and will shortly leave for the U.S.A. to participate in the combined university tournaments.
