SUDDEN DEATH
A sudden death occurred at Creswick Gully, Karori, at 12.45 p.m. yesterday. Mr. David Smith, married, 58 years of age, who had been complaining for the last three weeks of pains in his chest, which he attributed to indigestion, spoke to his wife of the pains and she gave him a cup of hot water. Almost immediately after drinking the water he lay back on his bed and expired. An inquest will be held.
