SUN YAT SEN’S FUNERAL

Peking, March 20. Sun Yat Sen’s remains, escorted by three aeroplanes, were transferred to Central Park, following a private Christian funeral service in accordance with deceased’s request. The streets of the capital were densely packed. The procession, which took half an hour to pass a given point, included the relatives and representatives of the Chief Executive of the Government, Labour unions, aiti also a large party of Soviet representatives, headed by Karakhan, carrying a Red flag, followed by members of the Kuo MinTang Executive with the flag of the Canton Administration, with forty-eight Kuo Min-Tang pallbearers.—Reuter.
