WELLINGTON HEADS DAY’S LIST A big drop in the daily total of cases of infantile paralysis .was noted in Saturday’s/notifications up till 9 a.m. Wellington headed khe list with seven cases. Fresh cases were recorded in all four centres. The first case of infantile paralysis in the Wairoa district was brought into Wairoa Hospital yesterday, the sufferer being a Maori named Henarc Wainohti, aged 22. The casi- is reported to be a severe one, both legs being affected. Wainohu conics from Mohaka. All contacts have been quarantined.

The infantile paralvsis suspect case, that of a young child, reported on Wednesday, proved to be a negative. Another suspect is under observation. Auckland, March 21.

Five new cases of infantile paralysis were reported to-day, one at North Auckland, one in the city, »’ Coromandel, and one in Opotiki. One death occurred in hospital. Dunedin, March 21.
