FIJIAN WOMAN BEHEADED. News of a tragedy in Fiji has just come to hand. A native woman is reported to have been murdered for the jewellery she was wearing. The victim, who was in the habit of displaying a considerable amount of jewellery, was murdered at a place called Vatulaulau 011 March 7. The woman’s body was discovered in a bag, while her’head was later found on the bank of the Ba River. When the last mail left Suva 110 details were available, but two suspected persons have been arrested.
