At the Harbour Board meeting last night very high compliments were paid by the chairman and members to Air. J. Marchbanks, the general manager, and the board’s officials and staff on the excellent work' carried out in every department. Eketaliuna possesses a dual purpose cow (says the “Express”). When a boy goes to bring in liis father’s herd each day, a heifer comes to meet him in the expectation that he will mount and ride her to round up the rest of the cows. The bails having been reached in this manner she is milked in her turn.
