POLICE AND CIVIL CASES The police cases in the Magistrate's Court yesterday were dealt with by Mr. E. Page,'B.M. A further remand until Thursday next was granted in the cases of Albert John Doran and Basil Gardiner Allway, two young clerks, who are charged with the theft of £2B 10s. as servants of the Eastbourne Borough Council ferry service. Bail (£200) was renewed. Leslie Herbert Edward Howe, charged with failing to provide his wife and children with adequate maintenance, was remanded until Monday.
