A GREAT SUCCESS

KHANDALLAH SWIMMING POOL The new swimming pool in the Khandallah Domain has proved a boon am a blessing to residents of that suburb during the holidays. Some hundreds of people, adults as well as bovs and girls, have been able to indulge in a swim in the cool mountain water which flows through the pool. The pool is 7ft. deep at one end, and shelves to 3ft. at the shallow end. A paddling place has been provided at one end of the pool for small children. At present the depth of water is just, a little too great for the three-year-olds, but later it is to be reduced by a little filling- of sand, which will provide a miniature beach Residents generally are more than satisfied with tho pool.
