Giacomo Puccini, the ’ composer of “La Boheme” and “Madame Butterfly,” died in tho arms of his daughter at a nursing home in Belgium, where he arrived ten days ago for the purpose of an operation on his larynx. He underwent radium treatment from which Im benefited, but collapsed unexpectedly from a. heart. attack. His ago was 68.
