ACCESS TO ROSENEATH

TRACKLESS CARS SUGGESTED. The Tramways Committee reported to the City Council last night that it had received the following resolution from the Roseneath and Mount Victoria Progressive Association“ That as the council is apparently unwilling to go on with a complete tram service for the district at present, this association urges the council to consider the question of a trackless tram service from Hataitai ora motor-bus service through the district." A reply was forwarded stating that the whole question of routes over which the trackless car might bo tried out was being investigated, and that the proposal made by the association would be considered along with others.
