OPOTIKI BOARDINGHOUSE DESTROYED BY FIRE
By Telegraph—Press Association. Opotiki, September 6. Fire destroyed a boarding-house owned bv the Farmers’ Trading Company, and occupied by F. Morgan last evening. The house was doomed when the fire was discovered. The occupants were absent. The brigade saved the out-buildings. . . n j The insurances on the house totalled about £B5O. and the furniture and niano £350. in the South British office. ' Morgan’s loss is £4OO in excess of the insurances. . The boarders lost most or their effects.
