“SHILLING DOUBLES”
LABOURER FINED FOR BOOKMAKING
By Tei.eobavh.—Press' Association. Dunedin, August 13. In the Magistrate’s Court, John William Logan, a casual labourer employed by tho Railway Department, was fined £lO for bookmaking. The police statements showed that he confined his operations to shilling doubles among his fellow-workers and friends.
