The Appeal Court yesterday grant, ed an application by the New; Zealand Farmers’ Co-operative Association of Canterbury, Limited, for a now trial. The company had sought in tho Lower Court to recover from Honi’v Leslie Churchra-rd £321 ss. fid., as the price of goods sold and delivered by plaintiff to tho firm of R. T. Reid and Co., of which defendant was alleged to bo a partner. When the case was tried at Blenheim, before Mr. Justice Reed and a jury of four, a verdict was given for defendant on the ground that he was not a partner in the firm <~f R. T. Reid and Co. Tho Court of Anneal held that there was evidence pointing strongly to tlw conclusion that defendant was a partner with Reid-
