MAGISTRATE’S COURT
POLICE CASES. The police cases in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday were dealt with by Mr. E. Paie. S.M. A further remand, for a week was granted in the case of a young clerk, lan Mathewson Nairn, who appeared on four charges of issuing valueless cheques. For procuring liquor during- the currency of a prohibition order. Ernest Edward Carr, was fined .£1 ami costs, Hoy Leslie Jorgen Neilson denied a charge of carnal knowledge' and was committed to tho Supreme Court for trial. /
