TOM HEENEY LEAVES FOR ENGLAND. Tom Heeney, of Gisborne, heavyweight professional boxing champion of Now Zealand, left by the s.s. Ruahine yesterday en route for England, where he will try conclusions with the best men in Great Britain. Heeney recently visited Australia, where he did well in the rini*, and acquired add.ed experience. Since his return to the Dominion, he has established undisputed right to the title of heavyweight champion. Ho is a resolute fighter,' possessing weight, physique, stamina, and fighting spirit, and should do well in the Old Land.
