THE TOWN HALL
AN IMPROVEMENT IN ITS ACOUSTICS Acoustically a great improvement has been effected in tho Town Hall by the recent changes made. these included wiring the hall cross-wise at Tutervals of about eight feet, removing the side-wall electroliers, and giving the metal ceiling three coats of paint. The combined effect, according to the city organist (Mr. Bernard Page) is to greatly lessen the disconcerting echo prevalent when the hall was anything but well filled.
