NELSON SCHOOL COMMITTEE ELECTIONS

The school committee elections were held last night. The principal results were:—Town schools, Mesdames C. Y. Fell and Tillyard, Messrs. Treacher, Stringer, Boyes, Milligan. McConchie, Wood, and Kasdale Hampden Street Mesdaines W. C. Harley and L. Pago, Messrs. A. F.cbinson, Knapp, Scantlebury, ’liiKi, AVi.gzell, Jones, and Mitciieiier. Motueka, Messrs. Boundy. Hart;, Goodall, Knapp. McGlashen, Brough, Dosaunais, Tredrea, and Morris. Six of the sixteen nominated we-e in favour of restoring the bop-picking holidays, but were well down on tho list.
