Representatives of the movement'gave evidence that they now adhered to on© specific proposal, that the Federal Parliament should bo empowered to consent to the establishment of now States without having first to obtain the consent of the State Parliament. They also desired that the new States should have the privilege of framing their own constitutions. —Press Assn.
