* FORD COMPANY’S ASSETS. (Rec. April 29, 8.40 p.m.) New York, April 28. According to a telegram from Boston the Ford Motor Company filed its financial statement for 1923, indicating that it. was probably the third strongest industrial organisation in the United States, being exceeded by the United States Steel Corporation ind tho Standard Oil Company. The Ford Company’s earnings last year totalled 82,263,000 do'lars. its total assets bein'' 5'38,000,600 dollars, its ger dwi.il 29,517,00(1 dollars, its real estate 93,000,000 dollars, its machinery and equipment 8~,689,C00 dollars, and its merchandise 94,328,000 dollars. it is estimated that its assets had probably increased by 30,000,000 dollars over 1922,—Au5.-N.Z.
