MORE LIGHT CRUISERS NEEDED Peking, April 26. Admiral Washington, commanding the United States Asiatic Fleet, was the guest at a dinner given by the American Legion. In a speech ho appealed for the co-operation of all civilions in China in securing more ships for the China service, in addition to six o-unboats for the China river work. The United States Navy urgently required at least forty light cruisers to act as eyes to the battle fleet if the American fleet was to keep its proper ratio of the Arms Limitation Treaty. —Aus.-N.Z.
