RUNAWAY LORRY COLLIDES WITH MOTOR-CAR
By Telegraph—Pktiss Assoctat’os Christchurch, April 26. A runaway motor-lorry, with a trailer carrying a ten of fish from Lyttelton to Christchurch, attempted to pass a five-seater car on the h'H Roinp into Sumner. The car was overturned mid crushed against a bank, while the lorry fell into a gullv, turning half a dozen somersaults. The driver of the lort’.v, J. Dalziell, emerged from the wreck unhurt, but Mr. and Mrs. Torrsnce and Mr. and Mrs. Elliott, who wore in the car, wore conveyed to the hospital. All were discharged except Mr. Torrence, who was pinned under tho car and sevoiely injured. Tho fish was gathered up and sent on to the city.
