April 24. correspondence for delivery by postmen in the city and suburbs will be delivered on application at the Postmen’s Branch, Chief Post Office (entrance upstairs’ from Featherston Street), from 8 to 9 p.m. The nubile delivery-counter will he oren for delivery of correspondence addressed to the Chief Post Office up to 9 p.m. Friday, April 25 (Anzac Day), will bo strictly observed as a Sunday. There will be no clearance of letter-receivers in the city and suburbs between the usual latest afternoon clearance on Thursday, April 24, and 11 p.m. on Friday. April 26. MOTOR SERVICES. 'A motor-car service has been established to convey letter-mails to the Manawatu, Wairarapa, Hawke’s Bay. and Taranaki Districts, such mails closing daily at 11 p.m. For the same districts papers, parcels, etc., will be dispatched b.v motor lorry daily. For Auckland and Waikato districts, etc., letter-mails close at 10.45 a.m. and 11 p.m. on Thursday. April 24, and thereafter each Munday. Wednesday, and Friday, at 11 p.m. Papers and parcels will be dispatched at every available opportunity.
