INFANT FATALLY SCALDED
FALLS INTO BASIN OF BOILING WATER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, April 20. Joan Maureen Barton, aged one year and nine months, was admitted to Dunedin Hospital on Friday evening suffering from extensive burns, and died on Saturday afternoon. At an innuest to-day a verdict was returned that death was duo to shockfollowing burns received by the child falling into a basin of boiling water. The Coroner added that the mother had demo everythmg possible.
