SCOUT SPOUTS. At The Aro Baths on Saturday the Wellington Scouts held their annual swimming races; Messrs. Somerville, McNio and Beasley (of tho Swimming Association) acted as starters and judges in conjunction with the Scout Commissioner (Mr. H. Amos). The following aro tho results: — 25 Yards Breaststroke (under 14). — First heat: Hepburn, 1; Black, 2; Brierly, 3. Second heat: Lapworth, I; Bedmond. 2; Kelly, 3. Final: Hepburn (Y.M.C.A. troop), 1; Lapworth (St. Thomas’s), 2; Black (Cambridge), 3. 50 Yards Breaststroke (over 14). — Lonsdale (St. Peters), 1; Hepburn (Y.M.C.A.), 2; McKeon (St. Peter’s), 3. 50 Yards (under 11). —First heat: Lapworth. 1; Saunders, 2; Millianta, 3. Second heat: O’Sullivan, 1; Ladkin, 2; Boyd, 3. Final: Lapworth (St. Thomas’s) 1; Saunders (Boys’ Institute), and O’Sullivan (Cambridge), dead heat, 2. 100 Yards (over 14). —Lonsdale (St. Peter’s), 1; Hepburn (Y.M.C.A.), 2; Robinson (Institute), 3. Back Race.-—Lonsdale (St. Peter’s). 1; Hepburn (Y.M.C.A.), 2; McKeeman (St. Peter’s), 3. Relay Race.— St. Peter’s, 1; Boys’ Institute, 2; Cambridge, 3. Diving.—Lapworth (St. Thomas’s), 1; Brierly (St. Peter’s), 2; O’Sullivan (Cambridge), 3. ■Towing Race.—St. Peter’s, 1; Y.M.C.A., 2; St. Peter’s, 3. Officers’ Race. —Aldridge, 1; Pawson, 2; Reynolds, 3 (all Petono troop). Tho swimming banner was won by St. Peter’s troop with 31 points, Y.M.C.A. gaining 17 points, and St. Thomas’s 13 points Assistant Scoutmaster Aldridge won tho commissioner's medal. KELLERMAN CUP. At the meeting of tho New Zealand Swimming Council, at Christchurcli, on Friday evening, it was decided, in respect to tho annual open water race for tho Annette Kellerman Cup that in future the event bo handicapped by a handicapper appointed by the council. Tho rule relating to the New Zealand championship meeting was altered to provide that tho cost of medals should Im a first charge against tliG meeting, and that, profits from meetings should be divided in the proportion of 75 per cent, to the controlling centre and 25 per cent, to the the council. For intermediate bovs a 440 yards championship wns substituted for the present 880 yards championship, and for intermediate girls a 220 yards championship was substituted, for the present 75 yards championship
