CITY LIGHTING SYSTEM
JOHNSONVILLE TO BE INCLUDED. The Power Stations Committee made tho following recommendation to the City Council last night: That authority be granted for legislation to bo obtained during the next session of Parliament to bring Johnsonville within the provisions of the Wellington Electric Lighting Act, lfi9l, as in the opinion of the committee it would be in the best interests of al! concerned for the rit-<- to undertake and bear the cost of the reticulation of Johnsonville and thereby deal with consumers on exactly the eanio footing as those within the city boundaries.
