At tho annual meeting of the Wellington Football Association last night, the chairman expressed the great regret with which the members had hoard of the accident to Mr. W. J. Butler, who had been an enthusiastic supporter of the game. On his motion, tho meeting passed a resolution of sympathy with Mr. Butler. A similar resolution was passed at the meeting of the Wellington Rugby Union.
